Most Instagrammable Spots

Fear not, Second Bay at __Coolum__ will tick the boxes you need. This lesser-known beach of Coolum is tucked away at the bottom of a hidden staircase surrounded by palms and pandanus trees – a tropical oasis if you will.  The bay is surrounded by a lush, green covered hill, sandy-orange rocks and natural rockpools that make the blues of the ocean shine. Pro tip: head down for a sunrise shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Second Bay, Coolum

Take the coastal walk around the __national park__ and feel like you’ve entered another world. Your shot list includes: crystal clear water, rugged headland, granite rocks popping out of golden sand, shimmering rockpools, native plants and wildlife… a photographer’s dream! Once you’ve hit Hells Gates, look back to get the perfect shot of __Double Island Point__.

Noosa National Park

The natural rock pools make for some epic photos whether from the beach or up above with a drone. If early rising isn’t your thing, head to the marina to grab a shot of the sunset with a cold glass of bubbles and fresh Mooloolaba prawns. It doesn’t matter if you’re up with the sun, long-lunching or sunset dining, the backdrop of Mooloolaba’s blue skies, shimmering water and golden sun will be enough to make you want to pull the camera out.

Sprinkled along the riverside path on Bradman Avenue are five historic boat sheds, each with their own style and character and boy, do they make for a great shot! Both sunrise and sunset over the __Maroochy River__ creates jaw-dropping colours, mirrored by the water. If you’ve missed the light show of the morning, the river shines just as bright during the day. Expect blue skies, shimmering blue water and a green backdrop.

As you begin the 2.8km trek to the summit of __Mount Ngungun__ and the burn starts to set in, you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking view of Mount Tibrogargan – the perfect place to stop for a breather (and snap a picture of course!). It’s the shot from the top that you’ll want to get, so soldier on! Picture 360-degree views of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and a nearly perfectly aligned shot of Mount Coonowrin and Mount Beerwah. Talk about on top of the world.
