In Benidorm, not everything is monumental. Beyond its skyscrapers and large beaches, there are tranquil corners hiding small paradises. To the north of the city, the coves Cala del Tío Ximo and Cala Almadrava welcome those seeking peace, a dip, or basking in the sun among the rocks. Moreover, if you feel like strolling, there’s a stretch of the coastal promenade that coincides with the old town and ends at Cala de Mal Pas. Not far away, in the Serra Gelada Natural Park, 300-meter ravines and underwater caverns teeming with vegetation and local species dot the path to the Albir lighthouse.
👀Heads up! Some coves are nudist-friendly, but it’s not mandatory to be one to enjoy them.
🏖The natural space of Serra Gelada extends to the bay of Altea.
🚶🏻♂️Hiking from the Sierra de la Cruz is also a great option, the views are spectacular.
