With a charming fishing port and picturesque streets, Sanary-sur-Mer is an authentic, welcoming Mediterranean destination. Stroll along the port, take the time to admire the colorful traditional boats called *pointus*, and explore the Provençal market for local products with South-of-France accents. This circuit can be steep in places, but it is still accessible enough for a family walk. The sea remains in view all along the path, which takes you by the famous Villa de la Madrague and ends on a sandy beach where you can dine at the beachfront Les Salins restaurant. To begin the walk, simply park at the École de Voile (Sailing School) - Yacht Club de Saint Tropez. If you’d like to circle back on a different route, you could take Chemin de la Moutte. The nativity circuit is a tradition in Lucéram that has been delighting visitors of all ages for years. From December to the beginning of January, more than 450 nativity scenes (a record in France, by the way!) pop up all over the village. The creations range from traditional to more artistic, but each of them brings the holiday spirit to this little medieval village, which is worth the detour all throughout the year.
