His elegant teakwood residence, built in 1915 and surrounded by luxuriant gardens, was designed for relaxation, gatherings and community events. Over time, it became celebrated as Bangkok’s first western-style public park, affectionately known as “Nai Lert Park” by locals.

The home, now a museum, holds a rich collection of artefacts spanning three generations of the Nai Lert family.
