Festina Lente, a luxurious guesthouse, is located in the northern suburb of Hurlingham in Sandton, Johannesburg … only 3 kilometres from the popular Sandton City Shopping Centre and the Sandton Gautrain Station.

The family who lived here before us, built the original house and stayed  here for 48 years – which might be the reason we believe this  sanctuary in the heart of Jo’burg has so much soul.    The crowning glory of the park-like garden, which attracts many  birds and butterflies, is the huge Pine Oak tree that shades  the main house. Festina Lente offers a sensory experience and resonates  an ambiance of old world charm with a touch of new-world glamour. It has 7 ensuite bedrooms each with its own entrance and patio.
