Goetheturm

Frankfurt is known for its skyscrapers and skyline, but the city is also a green heaven. You can observe all of it from the top of the Goetheturm, the Goethe Tower.
Goetheturm, named after the great German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, is a wooden observation tower on the edge of the Frankfurt city forest. For the people of Frankfurt, the tower acts as a landmark of the city, and it offers a breath-taking view of the Frankfurt skyline and the forest below. We recommend heading up early in the morning or when the sun goes down, when the light hits the city from aside, creating mesmerising shadows and landscapes.
