Nizza-Ufer

Have a little taste of the Côte d'Azur at Nizza-Ufer (Nizza Park), or the “Gardens of Nice”, on the northern bank of the river Main. An ideal location for a sunny picnic!
This 4.42-hectare long riverside city park is one of the largest southern gardens north of the Alps open to the public. It’s filled with Mediterranean flair, palm trees, cistus, fig trees, lavender, sage, and lemon trees. All thanks to the southern exposure, the lee of the quay walls and the sunlight reflected from the river causing exotic plants to thrive in a Mediterranean microclimate. Why not buy some lovely things to eat and drink, bring a blanket and find a nice green spot surrounded by the Med for an unforgettable picnic? We would! You find Nizza Park between the bridges Friedensbrücke and Untermainbrücke.
